Resident Camp Check-Out
Check-out for Resident Camp is 9:15am to 9:45am on the Saturday of your session.
Please contact the camp if your arrival or departure is different from the above schedule.
Parent's Night
Every Friday, we offer a Parent's Night at 4:00pm. This gives our parents a chance to see some of camp life. During the Parent Program, we talk about our week, sing a few songs and show our Session Slide Show produced by our campers. There is also the opportunity to meet your child's counselor, go through our Lost & Found and even get some new Mountain Camp Woodside gear.
Lost and Found
Lost and found items will be kept in a designated spot in the Camp Office throughout the summer. Please check with the Camp Directors if you believe an item of yours was left behind at camp. We are unable to store lost and found items once camp is over and we will donate any unclaimed items after the final day of camp.
Cell Phones and Electronics Policy
Campers may not bring electronic devices to camp. We believe camp is a great opportunity for children to be independent from their parents, in a safe and supportive environment, for a short period of time. After many discussions with camp parents and careful consideration, we are no longer allowing electronic devices at Mountain Camp Woodside. This includes Music Players (iPods, MP3s, etc.), Hand Held Games (DS, PSP, etc.), Cell Phones, Electronic Readers (Kindles, iPads, etc.), Laptops and Radios. As electronic devices have grown increasingly more complex (with features like video, internet access, etc.), we believe they disrupt the camp environment and have the potential to negatively impact the camper’s experience. Cameras are allowed. We recommend a disposable camera
Not Allowed At Camp
We do not allow pets, weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco or other banned substances at camp.
Medication
If your camper needs medication during the day, it must be turned in and logged with the Camp Directors. All medicine must be in the original containers. Due to licensing, Camp Directors are not allowed to dispense any medication not in their original containers.
